Sometimes I feel like l live in an alternate universe, not in a 'Woe is me, I'm all alone' kinda way though. This has more to do with conversations I'll have with certain people where I feel like all I know and have learned in the 33 years of living on this planet is simply non-applicable to what that person is telling me. I could easily write it off and say, 'Well, they're obviously lying' and that's that but after a while, I begin to question things differently... I begin to think, maybe this is actually the world we live in and I'm just not aware of it.
