Junk Science and Cool Calm Pete are featured on a FREE new EP from Iller Than Theirs. You can get the four-song EP HERE...

Other than the track by Snafu, production credits include J. Howells Werthman, who did the "That Being Said" remix for Junk Science, and executive production on Gran'dads Nerve Tonic. Beats for the EP also came from longtime Cool Calm Pete collaborator Doc Strange (Modern Rhymes and Windsprints), and Junk Science co-conspirator Scott Thorough (Hey and Hey, The Sequel).

Summer is darn near over,

so us good folks over here at Def Jux and Cool Calm Pete have been sure to offer you a summer jam to play out in these the dwindling days of August.

In other news, The Mighty Underdogs Just finished a weekend of dates with Blackalicious. Look for them next week and along the upcoming Aesop Tour that pops off THIS week!!! Also, Del Tha Funkee just added some tour dates for September festivals with big names like Badu, Barkely, and so on. Check em out.

Cool Calm Pete's Guide to Good Teeth.

For those of you still not up on Cool Calm Pete , you are probably not aware of his song Brush PSA off of 2006's, brilliant album, Lost. We recommend giving it a chance, and a second, then a third. Either way, we caught up with Pete on some tips for good 'dental hygene'. After all you can never be too careful with protection in the fight against gingivitus.

DJX: Do you brush both at night and in the morning?

CCP: But of course.

DJX: When you brush your teeth, what kind of tooth paste do you recommend?

CCP: I recommend changing toothpastes from time to time.

DJX: Do you floss? Waxed or Unwaxed?

CCP: Unwaxed.

DJX: Do you have any Cavities?If so how many?

CCP: If you mean in total over the years I've lost track. I might have one now. Don't forget the second part of the song is about candy. I like candy more than toothpaste.

DJX: Any advice to the fans out there about further dental hygene/ trips to the dentist?

CCP: Try to go when you have a problem and don't let your tooth rot away.
